Game of Thrones in Seville

 Games Of Thrones arrives to Spain to film the 5th season. Sevilla and Osuna will be the kingdom of Dorne in wich Tyrion Lannister, Jamie Lannister and Daenerys Targaryenwill appear, among others.

 

This craze for the series started a few months ago, when the film producer HBO asked for extras for the filming (about 500 people) but more than 55.000 people sent their curriculum by e-mail. After this, the producer specified that they wanted actors without tattoos, who were thin and tanned.

 

The film's creators, David Benioff and Daniel B. Weiss, said that it's difficult to imagine a best place than the Alcázar for recreate the famous Water Gardens as George R.R. Martin described on their books, a warm place where the water is very important and it is a symbol of richness. 

 

 During the filming, there has been a lot of anecdotes, especially with Nikolaj Coster (Jamie Lannister), who had to pay his ticket for enter to the palace for shoot and he has been the most viewed actor on Sevilla's streets.

The famous serie is leaving a lot of economical profit in Sevilla and Osuna. In this town a restaurant has prepared a menu based in the characters of the series wich you can taste the "Joffrey" tapa or the "Khaleesi" tapa.
