The New Season of The Walking Dead Arrives

 

The successful series called "The Walking Dead" debuts its 5th season.

The channel AMC will debut the new episodes of  'The Walking Dead' on the 12th of October in the U.S.A., whereas in Spain it will be televised some hours later, on Monday the  13th of October on the international channel Fox.

The series debuted for the first time on the 31st of October of 2010 on the AMC channel. During these four seasons it has been nominated for 43 prizes, of which it has won eight. In its fourth season, it broke every record for audiences of fictional series on a paid channel. This last season it debuted in October of 2013 with 16.1 million spectators and it finished in March of this year with a last episode which had 15.7 million spectators in the U.S.A. alone. The average of the fourth season of 'The Walking Dead' set a record number of 13.3 million spectators, which constituted a big rise in comparison with the third season.

 

The fifth season maintains the structures of the last seasons, composed of a total of 16 episodes which will debut in two parts of eight episodes; the first debuted on 12 october and the second will debut in february of 2015.

This new season will continue the story of the survivors who became trapped in a train car in the disturbing end of the fourth season.
